Two Hand Therapy OT Openings — Orange County, CA
Hands On Hands Rehab Center, Inc. | Therapist-owned outpatient hand therapy practice | 4 clinics across Orange County

We are hiring two hand-focused occupational therapists at two of our four Orange County locations. Both roles offer clinically varied caseloads, referrals from hand and orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, and pain management physicians, and a practice focused exclusively on hand and upper extremity rehab. No pediatrics, no skilled nursing, no general outpatient. The owner is a CHT who rotates between all four clinics and is available for case consultation.

Caseload (both locations)
Post-op flexor and extensor tendon repairs, nerve repairs and neuropathies, distal radius and scaphoid fractures, Dupuytren's post-fasciectomy, TFCC and DRUJ, CMC arthroplasty, trigger finger releases, cubital and carpal tunnel, lateral and medial epicondylitis, shoulder post-op (rotator cuff, labral, TSA/RSA), crush injuries, custom thermoplastic and relative motion splinting.

 
Role 1: Laguna Hills Clinic — Retirement Replacement
Our senior CHT is retiring in June after many years of building this practice. We are hiring her successor — a clinician ready to step into an established caseload with longstanding surgeon referral relationships already in place. This is a lead-therapist role: full caseload from day one, direct input into clinic operations.

Who fits
       CHT strongly preferred

       OR an OT with 1+ years of strong hand therapy experience working toward CHT

       Self-directed senior clinician comfortable being the lead at a location

Compensation
       $45–$60/hr base (top of range for seasoned CHTs; hand-experienced OTs start $45–$52)

       $5,000 sign-on bonus at 90 days

       $3/hr monthly productivity bonus when targets are met

Timing
Preferred start May or early June 2026 to allow brief transition with the outgoing CHT. Flexible for the right candidate.

 
Role 2: Los Alamitos Clinic — Hand Therapist
Our highest-volume location. Strong established referral network, high caseload volume, clinically varied. Good fit for a therapist with 1+ years hand experience working toward CHT, or a CHT seeking a specialty-only setting.

Who fits
       OTR/L with 1+ year hand therapy experience OR strong Level II hand fieldwork

       CHT welcomed or working toward it

       Solid fundamentals in post-op rehab, custom splinting, and conservative management

Compensation
       $45–$52/hr base

       $5,000 sign-on bonus at 90 days

       $3/hr monthly productivity bonus — top earners reach $55/hr

Job Requirements
Current California Occupational Therapist license
OTR/L required
Hand therapy experience strongly preferred
CHT preferred, but not required
Experience in post-operative rehabilitation
Experience with conservative management of upper-extremity conditions
Experience with custom splinting / orthotic fabrication
Strong clinical skills in hand and upper-extremity rehabilitation
Comfortable using an EMR system for documentation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Able to work in person in Los Alamitos
Willing to provide occasional coverage at other office locations as needed
