KatieBug Therapy Ltd is looking for another skilled and energetic Occupational therapist  to join our pediatric multidisciplinary team! Our OT/PT/ST team has been serving the  community for over 25 years and continuing to grow. Our new OT will be responsible for the evaluation and treatment of a variety of diagnoses  including Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dysgraphia, Fine Motor  Deficits, Visual Motor Deficits as well as a variety of other diagnoses and related impairments.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in occupational therapy
• IL State license
• (2) years of pediatric experience preferred but new graduates may apply
• Loves kids!!!
• Comfortable communicating with medical professionals
• Energetic, compassionate, positive attitude with patients and families
• Enjoys working in a team environment with PT/OT/ST and support staff
• Experience with EMR is a plus

Job Duties:

• Evaluating a patient's functional status
• Establishing treatment goals
• Planning treatment
• Implementing the plan of care through direct treatment
• Providing instruction and education to patient, family, and caregivers
• Evaluating need for interdisciplinary referral
• Participating in multidisciplinary patient care conferences
• Providing accurate, timely documentation of treatment
